Only Child

Hello dear readers. Charlie is writing this post today:

I live my life as an only child, even though I do have lots of brothers and sisters. This means I get tons of attention from my humans. It also means that when they're busy, I have to find ways to play by myself. One of my favorite games is "fetch." Sometimes I play it alone, which is so much fun! I have a very small tennis ball (just my size) that gives me hours of joy. Well, not hours exactly, a few minutes here and there is probably more like it. Are you wondering what that looks like? Well, wonder no more...

Charlie's Beginnings

Charlie was born on October 15, 2019 to a beautiful Havanese mom named Layla and a handsome dad called Artie. There were eight puppies in the litter - 6 girls and 2 boys - so Charlie came from a big family! G-Lo and Zayde knew they wanted a girl puppy, so once the little ones were old enough to have company, they visited them at their home in Seattle, Washington to pick one out. They fell in love with all the puppies. They were cute, soft, and extremely squirmy. One of the puppies kept coming over to G-Lo and trying to get her attention. She wanted to play and sit in her lap. She was very active, flopping and bouncing all over the place, pouncing on top of her brothers and sisters. That's the puppy G-Lo and Zayde decided to bring home. Some of the pups were chocolate and white, and some were black and white.
