Sweet Dreams and the Toilet

Charlie loves to sleep. She goes to bed at 8:00 each night and wakes up at 8:00 the next morning. She takes a two-hour nap each day. Charlie finds some interesting places to sleep and gets herself into some funny positions. Here are just a few examples.







Speaking of funny positions, this is how Charlie looked when G-Lo walked down the hall past the bathroom one morning.

No, Charlie did not go swimming in the toilet. She could not climb into it, and neither G-Lo or Zayde was about to lift her in! Once the weather gets warmer, G-Lo and Zayde would like to take Charlie to Sauvie Island to see if she likes to swim. Thanks for the question, Ezra.

Charlie's Beginnings

Charlie was born on October 15, 2019 to a beautiful Havanese mom named Layla and a handsome dad called Artie. There were eight puppies in the litter - 6 girls and 2 boys - so Charlie came from a big family! G-Lo and Zayde knew they wanted a girl puppy, so once the little ones were old enough to have company, they visited them at their home in Seattle, Washington to pick one out. They fell in love with all the puppies. They were cute, soft, and extremely squirmy. One of the puppies kept coming over to G-Lo and trying to get her attention. She wanted to play and sit in her lap. She was very active, flopping and bouncing all over the place, pouncing on top of her brothers and sisters.
